Questions? We’ve Got the Answers You Need!

Yes, the LinX CGM is water-resistant (IP68), providing reliable performance even during swimming or showering. It remains fully functional when submerged up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, so you can stay active without concerns.

The LinX CGM sensor has a diameter of 22mm and a thickness of 4.2mm, weighing just 2.2g—about half the weight of an A4 sheet of paper.

The LinX CGM offers the option for manual calibration if desired, but it is designed to function effectively without the need for calibration. Using a meter for calibration is not required.

Children and young individuals may be able to understand how their food intake, physical activity, and insulin use affect their glucose levels, potentially helping them make informed decisions about their daily therapy. However, it is important to note that they should always be supervised by an adult caregiver (18 years or older) when using the system for therapy decisions.

When scheduling medical appointments involving strong magnetic or electromagnetic fields, such as X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans, it is important to remove the LinX Sensor. After the procedure, replace it with a new sensor to ensure accuracy. However, the LinX CGM is not affected by mobile phone magnetic fields.

Clean the area with soap and water, then dry it thoroughly. Disinfect the skin with medical-grade alcohol, avoiding perfumes or hand sanitizers. Allow the skin to air dry before applying the sensor.

Make sure the skin is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. The sensor can be applied to either the back of the upper arm or the abdomen, as there is no difference in performance. However, the back of the upper arm is preferred. If the adhesive does not stick, ensure the area is free of oils, dust, or other impurities. If the issue continues, please reach out to customer support.

To set up remote sharing, your healthcare provider or caregiver must create a separate account on the LinX app. You’ll then need to authorize their account by entering their email and following the app’s instructions to grant access.

If you change your email address or account details, you'll need to update the authorization settings for any caregivers or healthcare providers. Simply re-enter their email addresses and re-authorize access through the Share/Follow section.

You can perform calibration yourself through the LinX app. However, if you're unsure about the process or new to using LinX, it's recommended to contact customer support for assistance.
